BOCA RATON, Florida (Jan. 16, 2021) – With a depleted roster on the road, the FIU men's basketball team faced Florida Atlantic in a Conference USA contest at FAU Arena on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers fell to the Owls 107-63 to close out the weekend series.
FIU's Antonio Daye, Jr. scored a team-high 21 points on Saturday, adding three steals and a pair of assists to his stat line. The game marked the seventh 20-point scoring game of the season for the junior. Jonathan Nunez scored a career-high nine points in his second-straight start against FAU, while Tevin Brewer scored seven and added a team-high four assists for the Panthers.

The Panthers return home for a series against Marshall on Jan. 22-23. Tipoff on Friday night is scheduled for 7 p.m., while Saturday's game is slated for 2 p.m. ET.
