CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Jan. 30, 2021) – The FIU men's basketball team closed out its Conference USA series against Charlotte at Halton Arena on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers fell to the 49ers 68-65.
Overall, FIU shot 45.5% from the field and 39.1% from three during the contest. The Panthers held the 32-18 advantage in the paint, and the FIU bench outscored Charlotte's reserves 32-18 during the loss.
Individually, Eric Lovett posted 17 points, and Cameron Corcoran added 11 points off the bench for FIU. Dimon Carrigan logged eight rebounds and a pair of blocks during the road battle.
