"I was proud of our performances today," said head distance coach Jermaine Felix. "To have so many of our runners finish with personal bests is a great testament to how hard they've been working."

Andrea Loizidou continued her strong 2021 campaign running 22:46, a 6K personal best. Daira Deicmane's 22:51, Leonards Farkas' 22:56, and Lisa Adjouadi's 23:49 were all personal bests as well, guiding FIU to their seventh place mark. Delilah Ayan and Katelyn Ziarnicki also competed for FIU.

The men earned a victory over FAU, led by Eliseo Torres who finished the 8K in 26:47. Freshman Chris Ivonnet followed close behind in 27:04. Roger Reyes, Jonathan Pineda, Andoni MercadoAlejandro Garcia, and Christoipher Gomez-Somarriba also competed for the Panthers.
