DENTON, TEXAS (Oct. 8, 2021) – The FIU women's soccer team fell to North Texas in the tough Conference USA match at the Mean Green Soccer Stadium on Friday night. The score stood at 5-0 in favor of UNT.
The Panthers offense was met by a pressing Mean Green defense when the team only posted three shots during the half. North Texas however took control and went into halftime ahead 5-0.
FIU opened the second half starring down a deficit, but the Blue & Gold did not quit as they kept an aggressive attack and looked to get on the board, earning four corners during the ending period.
