MIAMI (Feb. 6, 2021) – The FIU men's basketball team capped its series with UTSA by falling to the Roadrunners 90-47 at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on Saturday.
FIU went 34.7% from the field and 18.2% from beyond the arc while allowing the Roadrunners to shoot 51.6% from the floor and 50% from three. The Panthers were outscored 31-15 in points off turnovers and 31-12 in bench points.
Individually, Antonio Daye, Jr. led the way with 19 points for FIU. Dimon Carrigan scored six points, while Eric Lovett, Dante Wilcox, and Jonathan Nunez added five points apiece.
UP NEXT
The Panthers head to the Lone Star State to face UTEP in a Conference USA series from Feb. 12-13. Both games are scheduled to tipoff at 9 p.m. ET.
