Men's Soccer Travels to No. 11 Marshall

Panthers and Herd battle at 1 p.m. on Saturday

MIAMI (March 12, 2021) - The 22nd-ranked FIU men's soccer team hits the road officially for the first time this season as the Panthers travel to No. 11 Marshall on Saturday, March 13. First kick is slated for 1 p.m. ET and the match will be televised on ESPN+. 

SCOUTING THE HERD
Marshall enters the match with a 4-1-1 record, having won its first C-USA match over South Carolina last Saturday. Vitor Dias leads the Herd offensively, as he has scored six goals on the year and has assisted on two. Between the posts, Oliver Semmie has collected five saves and has allowed just three goals. 

INSIDE THE SERIES
FIU has won seven of the last nine matches over Marshall, but the Herd have taken the last contests in the series. FIU won its last match against the Herd in Huntington, West Virginia, however as the Panthers took a 2-1 decision in overtime.

UP NEXT
FIU returns home next Saturday, March 20, as the Panthers host UAB at Noon to continue C-USA action.
