MIAMI (March 15, 2021) - The FIU indoor volleyball team fell in a Conference USA battle with Middle Tennessee during the squad's final match of the season at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on Monday afternoon. The score stood at 25-22, 25-15, 14-25, 25-16 in favor of the Blue Raiders.
As a team, the Panthers hit .185 for the match. The Blue and Gold held the 47-44 advantage in kills and the 8-5 edge in blocks. Emily Meyer led the way with 12 kills for FIU. Julia Gutierrez-Mas tallied her second-straight double-double, amassing 10 kills and 14 assists.
The Panthers close out the regular season with a series at Florida Atlantic from March 21-22. Both rivalry matches are set for Noon ET.
