BOCA RATON, Florida (March 6, 2021) - Jessica Rivera hit her first home run of the season, but the FIU softball team couldn't overcome Illinois State on Saturday as the Panthers fell to close out the weekend.

Rivera finished 3-for-4 at the plate, with two RBI and a stolen base. She earned six hits in three games overall for the weekend to lead the Panthers at the plate.

FIU's second game of the day against Coastal Carolina was cancelled due to inclement weather.

UP NEXT
After a road contest at UCF on Thursday, March 11, the Panthers finally return home on March 13-14 as FIU hosts South Dakota for a three-game series.
