Softball Drops Midweek Game to No. 24 UCF

Panthers fall to Knights on the road

ORLANDO, Florida (March 11, 2021) - The FIU softball team fell to No. 24 UCF on Thursday, as the Panthers capped their road swing and now prepare for a weekend series at home. 

The Knights took Thursday afternoon's game 7-1 over the Panthers. 

Venessa Gallegos went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double, which was her third overall this season. Alexis Ross, Jocelyn Alonso and Tori Jones also collected hits on the afternoon. 

UP NEXT
The Panthers finally return home this weekend, as FIU hosts South Dakota for a three-game series on March 13-14.
