MIAMI (April 16, 2021) - The FIU men's soccer team heads to Old Dominion on Saturday, April 17, as the Panthers face off against the Monarchs for the regular-season finale.
First kick in Norfolk is slated for Noon on Saturday, with the match streamed live on CUSA.tv.
SCOUTING THE MONARCHS
ODU comes into Saturday with a 1-3-3 record overall and 0-3-3 mark in C-USA action. ODU has lost its previous two matches, including an overtime loss last week to No. 18 Kentucky. Ruben Pedersen and Ettore Casadei have scored five of ODU's four total goals this season to lead the Monarch attack. Djibril Doumbia has started in all seven matches for ODU at goal this season, earning 37 saves and allowing nine scores.
INSIDE THE SERIES
FIU leads the all-time series 6-3, with the Panthers having won six of the last seven contests. ODU took the last match in Norfolk however, with a victory in October of 2018.
