MURFREESBORO, Tennessee (May 9, 2021) - The FIU softball team's season finale at Middle Tennessee was cancelled due to rain on Sunday, as the Panthers wrapped up the final conference series of 2021. 

FIU was seeking to split the series with MTSU and clinch a spot in the C-USA Tournament after downing the Blue Raiders 8-4 on Saturday.

Sunday's game was suspended in the top of the fourth inning with MTSU leading 3-1.
