MIAMI (June 23, 2021) - FIU has entered into an agreement with New Mexico State to play two games on the gridiron, scheduling a home-and-home series for the 2022 and 2025 football seasons both teams announced on Wednesday.

The Panthers and Aggies face off at Aggie Memorial Stadium in Las Cruces, N.M. on Oct. 1, 2022, before closing out the series at FIU Stadium on Sept. 6, 2025.

The teams have only battled once before with the game taking place in the Land of Enchantment during the 2004 season.
