HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (November 11, 2022) - The FIU women's cross country team concluded its 2022 campaign with a 23rd place finish at the NCAA South Regional in Huntsville, Alabama on Fridaiy morning.
FINAL RESULTS
Andrea Lozidou set a personal best in the 6K of 21:14 to lead the Panthers, finishing 55th.
"I'm extremely proud of the team's effort throughout this entire season," said head distance coach
Jermaine Felix. "To place the highest we ever have for the men and women at conference and finish this season with a great run at regionals - I'm very proud of this group."
Emilie Christiansen,
Lisa Adjouadi, Hannah Buchanan, and
Delilah Ayan completed the scoring for FIU, while Capucine Rolin and Sabrina Gomez also competed.
The Pathers will now gear up for the indoor season, which will begin in early January.
