MIAMI (Feb. 22, 2022) - The FIU women's swimming and diving team is set to go for an eighth consecutive league title this week from Wednesday, Feb. 23, through Saturday, Feb. 26, when the Panthers compete at the Conference USA Championships in Lynchburg, Virginia.

The four-day competition opens on Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET with the 200-yard medley relay and is followed by the 800 freestyle relay at 6 p.m. ET.
Preliminary events will get underway at 10:30 a.m. for the swimmers from Thursday through Saturday, and Noon for the divers. Event finals will start at 6 p.m. each day from Thursday through Saturday.
Since joining C-USA in 2015, the Blue & Gold have been crowned league champions in every single season and currently hold the record for most consecutive championships in C-USA history. The seven-straight conference titles also rank as the most won in a row by any athletic program in FIU history.
FIU will face off against C-USA foes Rice, FAU, Marshall, ODU, and North Texas at the Liberty Natatorium on Liberty's campus. The awards and trophy presentation will take place on Saturday night following the completion of Day Four of the meet.

FIU has launched a fundraising campaign called "Champion the Panthers" in concurrence with Conference USA Championship Week.
