MIAMI - FIU football unveiled a new look for the 2022 season with its adidas branded WVN A1 uniforms, which provides an advanced fit, feel and lightweight technical design for enhanced performance.
 
The WVN A1 uniform is adidas' lightest weight game uniform. The advanced technology in the four-way stretch-woven fabric combined with stretch mesh paneling throughout the jersey and pant provides for an elevated range of motion, compression fit and superior ventilation. Rigid mesh at key vent zones around the shoulder pads provides AERO.RDY breathability.
 
The Panthers' released blue (home) and white (away) uniform designs feature a panther head on each shoulder and the phrase "Paws Up" on the inner neckline.
 
FIU will debut the new uniforms in its 2022 season opener on Thursday, Sept. 1 vs. Bryant University in a 7 p.m. ET kickoff.
