DALLAS, Texas – FIU women's soccer's
Nikole Solis was named the Conference USA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon, as Solis recorded four goals over a pair of wins last week to notch her first career C-USA Player of the Week honor.

Solis, a native of Boca Raton, Fla., leads FIU in goals (4) and points (8) after a strong week for the Panthers, starting with her first goal of the season in the second half of Thursday's 3-1 win at Stetson on Aug. 25. The sophomore forward followed up with a career performance on Sunday, notching her first career hat trick with three goals to extend FIU's win streak upon a 4-2 win over Southern at FIU Soccer Stadium – marking the Panthers' highest single-game goal tally since 2013.

Through four games, Solis ranks second in the Conference USA in goals scored, while her four goals highlighted a seven-goal output for the Panthers last week.

Additionally, FIU sits just five goals shy of topping 2021's output (14), seeing the Panthers rank fourth in the C-USA with nine goals thus far on the season.

UP NEXT
FIU will make the short trip over to Coral Gables for a Thursday night matchup at Miami on Sept. 1. Kickoff is slated for a 7 p.m. start at Cobb Stadium to be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
