The Panthers enter this weekend's slate of competition coming off a tough 0-3 start at the OU Invitational, though, seeing several flashes of the plethora of talent FIU holds amongst this year's squad through a trio of hard-fought matches. Senior middle blocker
Athina Dimitriadis came out the gates swinging for the Panthers in her FIU debut, being named to the OU Invitational All-Tournament Team after tallying 35 kills on .385 hitting along with 17 blocks over the weekend.

Junior setter
Sarah Nading also was impressive in her debut over the weekend, pacing the Panther attack with 90 assists (8.18/s), while
Emily Meyer posted a pair of solid performances, including her fifth career double-double of 14 kills and 13 digs against the Sooners. Alysa Wissinger's contributions were also felt with 22 kills and nine blocks, in addition to freshman
Sierra Moore with 15 kills. Graduate libero
Katie Turner anchors the defense with a team-high 49 digs, averaging 4.45/s through three matches.

The Panthers have another competitive weekend ahead of them, slated for matchups versus Arizona State on Friday, Dayton on Saturday and a top-five matchup with host No. 5 Georgia Tech to close the weekend on Sunday.
