FIU will go into Wednesday's game off of an 81-69 loss to Georgia Southern.

It would be a lackluster day from the field for the Panthers. They shot 29.2% on the day, their second lowest clip of the season, but shot their lowest percentage of the season from three, going 20% from behind the arc. Coming into the game first in C-USA in 3-point percentage at 37.1%, they dropped to second in the conference at 33.8%.

The game would consist of a heavy whistle from the referees, with foul trouble being a prominent storyline for both teams throughout the game. The Panthers had four players foul out of the game, their most of the season. By the end of the contest, FIU would have 25 fouls called on them while Georgia Southern had 26. No one from the Eagles would foul out of the game.

Sophomore Angena Belloso delivered the best day offensively for the Panthers, going 50% from the field and ending with 11 points in the match. Sariana Rodriguez Camacho was the only other Panther to have double digits on the day, ending with 10 points and half of her points coming at the free throw line, going 5-6 from the line. FIU would have a good day at the line, going 80.6% from the charity stripe in the game.

Graduate student Olivia Trice had a good defensive game for the Panthers, ending the day with five steals, the most of her career in a single game.
