Additionally, FIU has cleaned up its free-throw shooting and turnover margin, shooting 84.8 percent from the stripe through the last three games and giving up 12.0 turnovers to opponents' 15.3.

The Panthers 15.2 forced turnovers per game has continued to thrive through league play, while also collecting 8.9 steals per game.

Through 11 league games, Denver Jones has been electric in leading the Panthers and C-USA in scoring with 20.1 ppg in conference games, while leading the conference in field goal percentage overall (48.8%). Jones has net 11 20-point performances this season, in addition to shooting 39.4 percent from 3-point range and 88.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Graduate forward Nick Guadarrama continues his hot shooting, hitting at 39.6 percent clip from three in conference games, coming of four threes in FIU's 82-74 win over Middle Tennessee last Saturday. Additionally, Javaunte Hawkins and Petar Krivokapic have provided a significant boost in aiding FIU's shooting from distance – seeing Hawkins hit 6-of-9 (66.7%) and Krivokapic hit 8-of-15 (53.3%) over the last three games.

Dashon Gittens has been exceptional for the Panthers coming off the bench, having reached double figures in three of the last four games, while averaging 11.0 points through FIU's three-game streak on 58.3 percent shooting and 44.4 percent beyond the arc.
