San Antonio, Texas – The FIU women's basketball team (12-14, 7-10 C-USA) will wrap up their final road trip of the season against the University of Texas at San Antonio this Saturday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. ET inside the Convocation Center.

FIU's offense is sixth in C-USA averaging 68.73 points per game and fifth in the league with 156 three pointers made averaging 6.0 per game. The Panthers are 7
th in the conference shooting 71.6 percent from the charity stripe.
Redshirt junior
Mihaela Lazic led the Panthers in their last game with a career high 23 points on 10-15 shooting from the field (67%). Lazic was a huge lift off the bench leading both teams in scoring and matched her career high with five assists.
Senior guard
Kaliah Henderson continued her streak of double-digit points after scoring 16 against UTEP Thursday night. Henderson shot 50 percent from the field (5-10) and was 6-7 from the foul line and scored nine of her 16 points in the fourth quarter.
Henderson has scored in double figures in 12 straight games and 15 of the last 16. She continues to lead FIU in scoring, averaging 15.6 points per game, the sixth best scoring mark in C-USA, and eighth in the conference averaging 1.8 steals per game.
Sophomore guard
Tanajah Hayes is second on the Panthers averaging 9.8 points per game. Hayes has scored double digit points in five straight games after scoring 10 points against UTEP. Hayes is averaging 14.8 points during that five-game span. She is second in C-USA averaging 2.44 steals per game and leads FIU averaging 3.60 assists. (4
th in C-USA).
On the glass, the Panthers are second in the conference in rebounds averaging 39.1 per game, and first in C-USA averaging 14.85 offensive boards (386 total).
Defensively, the Panthers are second in the conference with 254 steals this season averaging 9.77 per game and second in forcing 18.81 turnovers per game for opposing teams. FIU also limits opponents to the second lowest shooting percentage from three-point range at 28.4 percent.
SCOUTING UTSA
The Roadrunners enter Saturday's matchup ninth in the C-USA standings with a 9-18 record on the season, including a 7-11 mark in Conference USA. UTSA has won their last two games and three of their last five. In their previous conference game, the Roadrunners won against FAU, 77-61.
UTSA is ninth in the conference in scoring averaging 63.78 points per game on 40.2% shooting. The Roadrunners are also a good rebounding team leading the conference averaging 40.1 boards per game and third in the conference averaging 13.52 offensive rebounds each contest.
UTSA has the leading scorer in the conference, junior forward Jordyn Jenkins, averaging 20.52 points per game and leads the Roadrunners with 7.6 rebounds per game (2
nd in C-USA). Redshirt sophomore Elyssa Coleman is second on UTSA in scoring with 9.7 points and is also second on the team averaging 6.3 rebounds each game (6
th in C-USA).
