MIAMI, Fla. – The No. 50 FIU women's tennis team collected a dominant victory in Miami on Saturday afternoon to stay undefeated on its home court, dropping Maryland, 4-0, to cut a six-match win streak for the Terrapins and move to 6-3 on the season.

The win marks FIU's third straight clinch-clinch victory at FIU Tennis Courts, sitting 3-0 at home this season.

The Panthers notched the doubles points for the fourth straight match, holding a 16-7 mark through dual doubles action this season.

FIU's No. 3 tandem of
Katerina Mandelikova and
Salma Loudili collected their first ranked win & fifth of the season, 6-1, over Maryland's No. 45 Mary Brumfield and Selma Cadar, while the No. 2 Panther duo of
Yasmine Kabbaj and
Oyinlomo Quadre collected their sixth straight win to clinch the point for the second straight match, 6-2, over Jojo Bach and Hannah McColgan.

The Panthers then clinched the victory with a trio of straight-set victories, as
Yasmine Kabbaj has found her rhythm at the No. 1 position, adding her second straight win in dominant fashion, 6-1, 6-0, to drop Cedar and extend the margin, 2-0.

Katerina Mandelikova also added her second straight at the No. 5 position, 6-2, 6-4, over Francesca Feodorov, 6-2, 6-4.

Reigning Conference USA Tennis Athlete of the Week
Oyinlomo Quadre sealed the deal for the second straight match, dropping Minorka Miranda, 6-3, 6-3, to secure the 4-0 victory over the Big 10 opponent.
