MIAMI (May 19, 2023) – Redshirt senior Alec Sanchez has been named to the 2023 Conference USA All-Academic Team, which was announced by the conference on Friday afternoon.

Sanchez recently graduated, earning a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies with a GPA of 3.87.
 
Sanchez is a four-year starter and is having his best seasons as a Panther. He is on a 35-game on-base streak and has hit a team-best 13 home runs.
 
In 45 games played, he is second on the team in average at .337 to go with 57 hits, 34 RBI and a team-best 25 walks.
 
Has gone hitless in two-straight games only twice this season, logging multiple hits in 20 games and has had five five-plus game hitting streaks.
