MIAMI (August 17, 2023) - The 2022 FIU cross country schedule is set, with the fall campaign kicking off on Friday, September 1 with the FAU Cross Country Collegiate Invitational.

"We're thrilled to get another season underway," said head distance coach Jermaine Felix. "We had a lot of breakthroughs last year, and we're excited to continue to build on that moving forward this season."

Last season, the Panthers earned their highest finish in school history on both the men's and women's side at the Conference USA Championships, with the women placing fourth and the men seventh. The women's performance was highlighted by a 12th place mark from Andrea Loizidou, earning second-team all-conference honors. 

After opening up the season at FAU, the Panthers also compete in the month of September at the UF Mountain Dew Invitational in Gainesville, and the FSU Cross Country Invitational in Tallahassee.
 
The Crimson Classic hosted by Alabama will serve as the final tune-up before the Conference USA Championships, set to be held this year in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
