CORAL GABLES— FIU men's & women's outdoor track & field wrapped up competition at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational with multiple standout performances, including a pair of event wins on day two.

Diana Romero Barba kicked off festivities with her strong performance in the pole vault, jumping up to 3.93m and earning a sixth-place spot in the school record books. Tyniece Barclay (PR) added an eighth-place mark in the discus with a throw of 48.56.

Day two was highlighted by a pair of event wins in the later hours, starting with Ane Martin Del Campo claiming the crown and second-place school honors in the 800m. Her run of 2:10.69 placed her just ahead of teammate Lorena Enamorado, who placed second at 2:12.21.

Nyla Fulvi's heptathlon performance placed her second in outdoor school history, which was a mark of 5062.

Chandler Mitzo capped off the day with a javelin win (PR), where his throw of 58.72m led the field. That throw placed him ninth in school history.
