EUGENE, Ore.- Standout FIU track & field freshmen Tim Beauchamp and Kylie Neira are set to compete beginning on June 18 in Eugene at the 2026 USATF U20 Outdoor Championships.

Beauchamp, who set the freshman record in the discus throw earlier this season and was named CUSA Freshman of the Week after his 53.89m throw at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational, will compete Thursday in the discus at Hayward Field. Beauchamp competed in the CUSA Outdoor Championships as well, where he placed 10th in the event.

Neira has had a strong freshman campaign for the Panthers, and after her gold medal in indoor season in the pole vault, continued by clinching a spot in Lexington with a 4.22m vault (freshman record, no. 3 in school history) at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational. She finished tied for 22nd in the East in that event, and placed 15th at regionals with another 4.22m jump. She also earned Freshman of the Week honors from CUSA after the Hurricane Collegiate.
