FIU took on perennial-powerhouse Western Kentucky in its previous two matches, pushing the Hilltoppers to five sets in both contests. Courtney O'Brien delivered a season-high 25 kills in Saturday's matchup, which marked the most kills by an FIU player since 2021.

Jillian Huckabey followed that with another solid individual performance on Sunday, racking up a season-high 22 kills at a blistering .421 clip. The Panthers and Aggies met three times last season, twice to conclude the regular season and once in the CUSA tournament, with FIU falling in all three contests.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES

New Mexico State split its two matches with Sam Houston on the road last weekend, winning in four before losing in three in Huntsville, Texas. The Aggies are led by Starr Williams, who has totaled 257 kills and a .320 attacking percentage, which ranks fourth-best and fifth-best in CUSA, respectively.

Yasso Amin will also factor into the offensive equation with her 203 kills, eighth-most in CUSA, averaging 2.71 kills per set. At the net, Nicole Briggs provides a presence for NMSU with her 63 total blocks, an average 0.9 per set. The Aggies started CUSA play 3-1, but are now 1-3 in their last four conference matches.
