Arlington, Texas - FIU Women's Basketball falls to University of Texas - Arlington on the road, 72-56.
The Panthers started the game with a nine-point first quarter, all of which was scored by junior Angena Belloso who ended the contest with 13 points, seven assists and one steal on the night. FIU went into the second quarter down 9-15.
UTA continued the charge, extending their lead to eight heading into the half with a 34-26 advantage.
The third quarter was much of the same, with the Mavericks once again extending their lead with a three-point advantage over the Panthers in the third. FIU went into the final quarter with a 52-41 deficit.
The fourth frame saw Isnelle Natabou score 11 points on 5-6 shooting, ending the contest with 22 points on 10-11 shooting, seven rebounds and one steal, her highest point total of the season.
FIU could not chip away at the UT-Arlington lead and fell 72-56.

FIU will play host to the FIU Christmas Classic, welcoming Hampton, George Washington and Miami (OH) to the Ocean Bank Convocation Center. The Panthers will start off by playing Hampton on December 20 at 12 p.m., and follow it up with a matchup against Miami (OH) the next day on December 21. Both games will be available on ESPN+.
