GAINESVILLE, Fla. — FIU's women's track and field program competed at the RADD Sports Invitational on Friday, highlighted by a win in the 3000m by Lisa Redlinger.
The Panthers traveled to Gainesville for the second-straight weekend and produced three outstanding results on the track. Redlinger recorded a personal-best time of 9:33.34 to win the 300m run, a mark which is also third-best in program history.
Her Panther teammate, Leonora Lynn, also ran a personal-best time of 10:04.19, which is 10th all-time in the 3000. Lisa Adjouadi recored FIU's third top-10 event time of the day with a 5:01.23 in the one mile, eighth all-time.
Lorena Bartakovic also competed for FIU in the 3000, finishing sixth behind Lynn's fifth in 10:15.43. Adjouadi finished seventh overall in the one mile run while her fellow Panther Ane Martin del Campo ran a 5:04.55, finishing 10th.
Krysten Sanders notched a fourth-place finish in the pole vault with a mark cleared of 3.5 meters.
UP NEXT
FIU will head to New York, N.Y. to participate in the Scarlet Knight Open, hosted by Rutgers on Jan. 31.
