MIAMI - FIU women's basketball will be back at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center for the first time in 18 days for a matchup against Jacksonville State on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m.

FIU is 2nd in CUSA in FG% at 45.7% The team is second in offensive rebounds per game with 12.9, while first in opponent rebounds per game during conference play (29.1) The Panthers are also first in the conference and 26th in the country in rebound margin at +7.7.
Senior Isnelle Natabou has been one of the CUSA's best players since conference play began, scoring double-digit points in her last six contests, and having four or more offensive rebounds in six of her last seven games. The center is fifth in scoring in CUSA-play with 15.3 points per game, and fifth in rebounding with 8.3 rebounds per game. Overall, the Czech Republic native is second in CUSA in offensive rebounding with 4.1 a game, and 19th in the country.
Natabou leads the entire country in field goal percentage at 71.3%, and is third among active players in career field goal percentage at 63.8%.Â
Junior Parris Atkins is 5th in CUSA in scoring with 14.4 points per game this season, and 5th in field goal percentage at 46.6%. Additionally, she is tied for 6th in steals per game with 2.3, and sixth in total steals with 42.
Isnelle Natabou (73.8%) and Parris Atkins (54.3%) are first and third respectively during CUSA play in field goal percentage.Â
SCOUTING THE GAMECOCKS
Jacksonville State has had a middling start to conference-play with a 3-4 CUSA record and 9-9 overall record, good for sixth in the conference.
The Gamecocks sit at ninth in the conference in scoring, putting up just 57.1 points per game thus far, but make up for it on the defensive end of the court, allowing just 62.3 points per game, good for third in CUSA-play.
Jax State is second in the conference in three-pointers made a game, knocking down 7.1 a game at a 27.9% clip.
The Gamecocks are led by forward Bre'Anna Rhodes with 9.4 points per game, also leading Jax State in rebounding at 5.2 rebounds per game.
Junior guard Clara Gonzalez Planella is second on the team in scoring with 7.3 points per game. Senior forward Mya Barnes is close behind, scoring 7.1 points per game while also leading the team in steals with 1.2 a contest.Â
Forward Valentina Saric leads the team with 32 three-pointers made a game, fifth in the conference, shooting the long-ball at a 32% clip.
After beating the Gamecocks by 25 in their first match of the 2023-24 season, FIU is looking to avenge its 80-63 loss in Jacksonville in their second matchup last season.Â
