BATON ROUGE, La.– A trip to the bayou is in the cards as FIU men's basketball wraps up its Power Conference road trip with its first-ever matchup against LSU.

The Inbound

LSU has dominated both Tarleton State and New Orleans, sitting at 2-0 and averaging over 94 points per game through two games.

Series History
The Panthers and Tigers have never faced off , but FIU has played several SEC opponents during its program history.

FIU is 1-14 in 15 all-time matchups against SEC opponents. The last SEC team the Panthers faced was Georgia in 2021, a 58-51 loss. The lone win all-time against an SEC opponent for FIU was in 1997-98, a 68-66 victory against Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
