EL PASO, Texas – The FIU volleyball program fell to (RV) UTEP in straight sets on Friday evening in a CUSA matchup.
The Panthers (18-10, 12-3 CUSA) battled through three competitive frames but came up short, falling 25-20, 25-22, and 25-23.
Kira Givans and
Jillian Huckabey paced the FIU attack, each finishing with double-digit kills. Givans posted 11 kills and three blocks, marking her 18th match this season with 10 or more kills.
Huckabey added 10 kills and four digs, recording her 12th double-digit performance of the year.
Rebekah Pfefferkorn and
Magda Stambrowska chipped in seven kills apiece, while
Emma Beretich recorded three blocks. Setter
Savannah Cook totaled 33 assists with four digs, and libero
Mandi Morioka anchored the defense with 10 digs.

FIU closes out the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 15 facing (RV) UTEP in El Paso, Texas. Match is set for 3 p.m. in Memorial Gym and can be streamed on ESPN+.
