MIAMI– Men's basketball returns home looking to snap a brief two-game skid with a game against Fort Lauderdale. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
The Inbound
The Panthers dropped a contest at LSU in their previous game, trailing by five at halftime but falling victim to a hot-shooting second half Tigers team in a 98-81 loss.
Corey Stephenson had 25 points and
Julian Mackey had 24 in the game.
Fort Lauderdale is 4-1 overall, but did drop their other Division I exhibition to Stetson.

The Panthers and Eagles have never played each other.

- Jeremy Ballard is one win away from 100 career wins.
- Stephenson enters play second in the nation in offensive rebounds per game with a 6.00 mark after having eight at LSU. His performance of 25 points, 10 rebounds and six assists was the first by an Eagle since Ivan Almonte did so in 2004.
- Mackey joined Stephenson with 24 points in the loss, wrapping a solid road trip where he averaged 18 points per game. He and Stephenson were the first Panther teammates since 2019 to have 24+ points each in a road game.
- Ibrahim Olajuwon had a career-high night in Baton Rouge, scoring eight on 4-5 shooting and grabbing three boards in a career-high 23 minutes.
- The Panthers are top-20 in the country in offensive rebounds per game (14th) and turnovers per game (20th).
