The series marks the Panthers' final home stand before wrapping up the regular season at UTEP next week and returning home to host the Conference USA Championship from Nov. 21–23.

Last weekend, FIU continued its momentum with a pair of wins over Jacksonville State, rallying for a reverse sweep on Friday, Oct. 31, and taking a straight-set victory on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Kira Givans continues to power the Panther offense, leading the team with 319 kills while playing in all 25 matches. Her 3.54 kills per set rank third in Conference USA, and she has recorded 15 matches with 10+ kills, including three 20-plus performances and 15 kills in Friday's win over Jacksonville State. Givans earned CUSA Offensive Player of the Week honors on Oct. 13.

Savannah Cook is having a standout season, pacing the team and the conference with 818 assists (10.10 per set) and 486 assists in league play—the most in CUSA. She has notched 11 matches with 40+ assists, including a career-high 59 in the four-set win at Liberty (Oct. 25). Cook has tallied eight double-doubles this season and recently surpassed 3,000 career assists, becoming just the fourth player in FIU history to achieve the milestone.

Jillian Huckabey has recorded five straight double-digit kill performances, highlighted by 15 kills and 14 digs on Friday, Oct. 31, followed by 11 kills and eight digs the next day. The junior opposite ranks second on the team with 197 kills.

At the net, Magda Stambrowska and Sofie Vogel lead the blocking unit. Stambrowska totaled 18 kills and five blocks in last weekend's series, including 10 kills on Friday totaling for a team-high of 57. Vogel adds 56 total blocks—second on the squad.

Freshman Rebekah Pfefferkorn continues to make her mark, posting 18 kills across the two matches against Jacksonville State, including 11 on Friday. She sits third on the team with 179 kills, appearing in 23 matches this season.

Defensively, Mandi Morioka anchors the back row with 404 digs, ranking third in Conference USA. She tallied 16 digs in Friday's five-set win and 13 in Saturday's sweep.

As a team, FIU ranks top three in CUSA in both assists (1,151) and kills (1,246), while sitting second in service aces (176).

HISTORY WITH MIDDLE TENNESSEE
This weekend marks the 46th and 47th all-time meetings between FIU and Middle Tennessee, a series dating back to 2001. The Blue Raiders lead the overall series 32-13. Last season, Middle Tennessee took both meetings on the road, before FIU earned a split in 2023.
