DALLAS – The FIU football program arrived in Dallas, Texas, on Monday afternoon as the Panthers begin preparations for the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl, set for Friday, Dec. 26 at 8 p.m. ET against UTSA on ESPN.

Following a day of travel to the Lone Star State, FIU took part in a team-building activity Monday evening at the Fowling Warehouse, enjoying games, food and time together as the Panthers settle in for bowl week. The appearance marks FIU's first bowl berth since the 2019 season.

BOWL BOUND

Led by first-year head coach Willie Simmons and our talented student-athletes, coaches and staff, the Panthers are set to represent FIU on a national stage in Dallas, Texas on Dec. 26 in the First Responder Bowl. FIU will take on UTSA at 8 p.m. ET at Gerald J. Ford Stadium, of which the game will air as a standalone matchup on ESPN.
