MIAMI – The FIU women's basketball team has earned four 2024 CSC Academic All-District selections, with seniors Bineta Diatta, Isnelle Natabou, Lucia Fleta Robles, and Aaliyah Pitts receiving the honor.
Bineta Diatta delivered a standout season, setting career highs in nearly every statistical category. She averaged 23.8 minutes per game while contributing 8.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per contest. Defensively, she made a significant impact, recording 13 blocks, 22 steals, and leading the team in charges taken. Diatta, a dedicated student-athlete, maintains a 3.67 GPA while majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Isnelle Natabou excelled both on and off the court this season. The Health Services Administration major, boasting a 3.73 GPA, was named CUSA Newcomer of the Year after an impressive conference campaign. She ranked fourth in CUSA in scoring, averaging 16.2 points per game, and sixth in rebounding with 7.7 boards per contest. Natabou also made history by leading the NCAA in field goal percentage at an incredible 67.4%.
Lucia Fleta Robles made the most of her first and only season as a Panther, delivering a career-best performance. The guard ranked third in CUSA in minutes played per game (36.2) and fifth in assists (3.4). Overall, she averaged 7.7 points per game and led FIU in three-pointers made with 36. Off the court, she excelled academically, maintaining a 3.89 GPA as an Early Childhood Education major.
Aaliyah Pitts, one of only two Panthers to appear in all 30 games this season, was a key contributor on both ends of the floor. She averaged 6.9 points per game and ranked 10th in CUSA in rebounding with 5.9 boards per contest. Pitts recorded two double-doubles during the season, including a standout 12-point, 11-rebound performance against her former team, Western Kentucky. She has also excelled academically, earning a 3.92 GPA as a Hospitality Management major.
