MIAMI – FIU Women's Basketball, in conjunction with Conference USA, has officially released the conference schedule for the upcoming 2025–26 season.
Head Coach Jesyka Burks-Wiley will lead the Panthers into her sixth season at the helm, returning the same coaching staff for the third consecutive year. The team will also welcome back standout guard Parris Atkins, a 2024–25 All-CUSA Second Team selection, and All-Freshman Team honoree Fantasia James.
The conference slate includes 18 games, nine at home and nine on the road. This season marks the addition of Delaware and Missouri State to Conference USA, with Missouri State becoming FIU's new travel partner.
FIU opens conference play with three consecutive home games at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center. The Panthers kick off the stretch against CUSA newcomer Missouri State on Sunday, January 4, followed by matchups against Jacksonville State on January 8 and Kennesaw State on January 10.
The Panthers will then hit the road for their first away games in conference play, beginning with New Mexico State in Las Cruces on January 15, followed by a trip to El Paso to take on UTEP on January 17.
FIU returns home to face Sam Houston on January 22 and Louisiana Tech on January 24, before heading to Lynchburg for a tough matchup against last season's CUSA champion, Liberty, on January 28. The Panthers will then travel to face Delaware in the first-ever meeting between the programs on January 31.
In February, FIU hosts last season's CUSA runner-up Middle Tennessee on February 5, and Western Kentucky on February 7. The Panthers then go back on the road for games at Louisiana Tech (February 12) and Sam Houston (February 14).
Delaware and Liberty will visit the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on February 19 and 21, respectively, before FIU closes out the regular season with three consecutive road games: Missouri State (February 28), Middle Tennessee (March 5), and Liberty (March 7).
The 2026 Conference USA Basketball Championships will once again be held at the Propst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama, from March 10–14.
