MIAMI — FIU's athletic department unveiled its plans and schedule for the first-ever Willie Simmons Coach's Show, hosted by Twin Peaks Doral, on Tuesday afternoon.
The Panthers will partner with Twin Peaks Doral, one of the highest-grossing restaurants in the entire franchise, for a weekly show with first-year Head Coach Willie Simmons and other special guests. Host Corey Brooks will sit down with Coach Simmons to discuss all facets of Panther football, with an emphasis on recapping the previous week's match-ups and previewing the upcoming game.
For those that are unable to attend, the show will also be live-streamed on ESPN+, of which links will be provided weekly via fiusports.com and FIU's social media accounts.
As part of the partnership, Twin Peaks will be extending its Happy Hour deals to 7 p.m. on the days of the show, which includes:
- $1.50 Off Signature Tap List
- $5.55 Select Appetizers
- $1.50 Off Wine by the Glass
- $3.50 Shots
- $6 Featured Cocktails
During the event, promotional ticket giveaways will also be done for those in attendance. The show will of course lead into the NFL's Monday Night Football, of which Twin Peaks Doral will have its traditional deals, which are as follows:
