ATHENS, Ga. – The FIU volleyball program rolled to a dominant straight-set sweep over Presbyterian on Saturday afternoon in day two action from Stegeman Coliseum.
 
The Panthers cruised to their second consecutive sweep of the 2025 season with set wins of 25-22, 25-21, and 25-14.
 
Courtney O'Brien led the way with nine kills and 13 digs, while Jillian Huckabey chipped in four kills and 11 digs. Sofie Vogel added five kills and a team-high five blocks.
Kaylee Musick dished out 20 assists, with Savannah Cook adding eight, while Kira Givans contributed five kills.
 
After falling behind 17-14 in the opening set, FIU responded with a 4-0 run to close out the frame. In set two, the Blue Hose briefly led by two before the Panthers stormed ahead on a 6-0 run, capitalizing on attack errors and finishing strong with kills from Beretich and Huckabey.
 
FIU left no doubt in the third set, racing out to a 17-4 advantage before sealing the match with a decisive 25-14 win.
