MIAMI – The FIU Beach Volleyball team unveiled its 2026 Spring schedule, featuring five power-4 opponents and four CUSA opponents, culminating in the Conference USA Championships at Sugar Beach, Louisiana for the third consecutive season.

The season will consist of nine meets, including two hosted by FIU at the FIU Beach Volleyball Courts on the Modesto A. Maidique Campus.

The Panthers are going into their first season under head coach Lauren DeTurk, who was hired to FIU in August. Coach Deturk previously coached at NAIA-school Saint Katherine, leading the Firebirds to two conference championships leading to her receiving a conference Coach of the Year award.

The Panthers will open their season at the Florida Atlantic-hosted Beach Burrow Bash (Feb. 20-21), starting the season against Boise State and Palm Beach Atlantic on day one, before matching up against Coastal Carolina and Florida Atlantic day two.

FIU will host their first of two meets the week after, welcoming Palm Beach State and Palm Beach Atlantic to the FIU Beach Volleyball Courts on February 28.

From there the Panthers will head back on the road to participate in the UNF Sand Invitational (March 6-7). FIU will play Jacksonville and North Florida on day one, before facing Eastern Kentucky and Mercer on day two.

FIU will travel out west for the East Meet West Invitational hosted by UCLA on Manhattan Beach on March 13-14. The Panthers will play the 2025 NCAA Tournament runner-up champions LMU first, before facing off against Hawaii on day one. Day two will see FIU play two power-4 teams in Cal and UCLA, both of which were NCAA tournament participants last season.

The Panthers will head back east for the FGCU Invite on March 20-21, playing FGCU and Jacksonville day one, and CUSA foe Sam Houston and Palm Beach State day two. FIU will host a quick dual meet on March 28 against State College of Florida at 2 p.m.

The Panthers will then head to the desert for the Arizona State Sparky Invitational on April 3-4. FIU will have three matchups on day one, playing Stetson, Grand Canyon and Ottawa, before facing off against the host-school Arizona State on day two.

April 10-11 will see the Panthers head to Boise, Idaho to take part in the Boise State Beach Bash, matching up against Washington, Boise State, Grand Canyon and USF over the two-day event.

FIU's final matchup of the regular season will see them in New Orleans, where they will play in the Tulane-hosted NOLA Classic. The Panthers will see Southern Mississippi and New Orleans on day one, and Tulane and Arizona on day two.

The Panthers will then head to the CUSA Tournament at Sugar Beach in Youngsville, Louisiana at the Youngsville Sports Complex, starting on April 23 and extending through April 25.
