NEW ORLEANS, La. - FIU Beach Volleyball (9-15) will head to New Orleans to participate in the Tulane-hosted Nola Classic for their last meet before the Conference USA Championships. The Panthers will see Southern Miss., New Orleans, Tulane and No. 20 Arizona during the two-day meet.

The first dual of the meet will see the Panthers match up against Southern Mississippi. The Golden Eagles come into the match with a 12-17 record. FIU is looking to continue its success against Southern Miss., holding a 2-0 lead in the all-time series.
The second match of day one will come against New Orleans, currently with an 11-13 record in the 2026 season. This will be the 18th meeting all-time between the two programs, with FIU up 11-6 in the series.
The first match of day two will come against the host-school and CUSA foe, Tulane. The Green Wave comes into the matchup receiving votes in the AVCA poll, and has spent time ranked this season. Tulane is currently 19-11, with one win over a ranked team in then-ranked No. 19 Washington, 4-1.
The Panthers will end the meet and the regular season against the only ranked team in the Nola Classic field, No. 20 Arizona, the first meeting between the two programs. The Wildcats are 18-8 on the season, with then-ranked victories over No. 13 Grand Canyon, No. 19 Georgia State and No. 18 South Carolina. FIU is still looking for its first win over a ranked opponent this season.
