Beach Volleyball Sees Six Panthers Earn CSC All-Academic Honors

Brown, Drozd, Gubik, Luoma, Robison and Prodan all earn the nod

MIAMI – Six beach volleyball players in Kendra Brown, Katarina Drozd, Hanna Gubik, Brianna Luoma, Hailey Prodan and Nicole Robison earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large bids, CSC officials announced Tuesday afternoon.

Senior Kendra Brown finished the 2026 season with the most wins on the team, winning 18 games, including going 3-0 in the Conference USA Championships. Additionally, Brown won three matches against ranked opponents in then-ranked No. 15 Florida Atlantic, No. 13 Hawaii and No. 19 Florida Atlantic. In the classroom, Brown is excelling as an International Business major, earning a 3.66 GPA for the semester.

Junior Katarina Drozd currently stands with a 3.67 GPA as a Biological Sciences major. Paired with Brianna Luoma for every match in the 2026 season, Drozd won 16 matches, two of which coming in the CUSA Championships. The pair came out victorious against two ranked teams, those being No. 17 North Florida and No. 19 Boise State. The sophomore Luoma is also a CSC Academic All-District recipient, ending the semester with a 3.89 GPA in her Psychology major.

The pairing of Hanna Gubik and Nicole Robison were also both honored as CSC All-Academic recipients, with Gubik finishing the semester with a 3.97 GPA in her Psychology major, and Nicole Robison seeking a Bachelors in accounting, finishing with a 3.52 GPA. On the sand, the pair won 11 matches, including two against ranked opponents in then-ranked No. 15 Stetson and No. 13 Grand Canyon.

The final Panther to make the CSC All-Academic list is sophomore Hailey Prodan, ending the season with a 3.92 GPA in biological sciences, currently on the allied heath track. Prodan played in 26 matches in her first season as a Panther, including making the Panthers' lineup in their three matches at the CUSA championships.
