MIAMI – Beach Volleyball's Brianna Luoma was placed on the 2026 Conference USA Beach Volleyball All-Academic team, conference officials announced Friday afternoon.
Luoma, now in her second year as a Panther in her sophomore season, is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a concentration in applied behavioral sciences. The student-athlete holds an impressive 3.87 GPA in her field.
On the sand, the 2025 CUSA Freshman of the Year and 2026 CUSA Preseason Player of the Year has played every dual on court one, paired with Katarina Drozd. The sophomore has 12 wins on the season, tied for most on the team coming into today, including two victories over ranked opponents in then-ranked No. 17 North Florida and No. 19 Boise State.
This is the first career CUSA All-Academic honor for Luoma.
