GREENSBORO, N.C. – The FIU swimming & diving program is set to compete at the American Conference Swimming & Diving Championship from Wednesday, Feb. 18 through Saturday, Feb. 21 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
All four days of competition will be streamed live on ESPN+.

The Panthers enter the championship meet looking to rebound after falling just 1.5 points shy of capturing their second consecutive conference title in 2025. FIU totaled 1,475 points, earning 16 medals, including a conference-best six gold medals. The Panthers also set two school and meet records, breaking the 200-yard medley relay mark with a time of 1:36.60, while
Emma Becker set a new program record in the 100-yard breaststroke with a 59.02.
Among last year's standouts, senior
Nicole Frank was named the American Conference Most Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet after winning three individual gold medals in the 200 breaststroke, 200 IM and 400 IM.
FIU concluded its dual-meet season with a pair of victories, defeating Florida Atlantic and Lynn. The Panthers also turned in a strong midseason performance at the Mizzou Invite, finishing second overall ahead of Power Four program TCU. FIU claimed two American Conference weekly awards during the regular season.
FIU will compete in 22 events at this year's championship and enters with strong depth across multiple disciplines. The Panthers boast 32 times or scores ranked inside the top 15 in the conference, including eight ranked among the top three.
Frank leads the way with three top-four conference times, including the top mark in the 400 IM (4:12.85), fourth in the 200 IM (2:00.74) and third in the 200 breast (2:12.87).
Pauline Zeller owns the second-fastest time in the 100 butterfly (52.65), while
Diana Santamaria ranks fourth in the 100 backstroke (53.64).
FIU also features some of the conference's strongest relay units, ranking in the top three in four of the five relay events scheduled for the meet. The quartet of
Tawannah McLemore,
Diana Santamaria and Frida Stretre Løbersli holds the fastest time in the 200 medley relay (1:36.47). Meanwhile,
Olivia Matson, McLemore, Santamaria and Zeller own the top conference time in the 200 freestyle relay (1:30.84).
On the diving boards,
Ruska Lehtonen holds the conference's top platform score (269.03). In the 3-meter event,
Kristina Keenan ranks fourth (310.43), while she also sits fourth in the 1-meter (278.18).
