GREENSBORO, N.C. –The FIU swimming & diving program added two medals on the final day of competition at the 2026 American Conference Swimming & Diving Championship at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
FIU concluded the four-day championship with 990 total points to secure a fourth-place team finish.
The Panthers earned a pair of bronze medals to close out the meet. Sophomore
Claudia Frasca captured her first individual conference medal in the 200 backstroke, placing third with a time of 1:55.92. FIU also secured bronze in the 400 free relay, as the quartet of
Oumy Diop,
Ana Luiza Daisson,
Diana Santamaria, and
Pauline Zeller posted a combined time of 3:19.53.
Individually, Diop added an A-final appearance in the 100 free, finishing seventh in 49.88. In the 200 breast,
Nicole Frank placed sixth with a time of 2:14.87.
On the boards, FIU had two A-finalists, with
Ruska Lehtonen (211.10) finishing seventh and
Brooke Megdall (201.00) placing eighth.
Overall, the Panthers totaled eight medals across the championship, highlighted by a gold medal in the 200 medley relay, where FIU set both a program and American Championship record with a time of 1:36.24.
Zeller led the way with four total medals during the meet, including a bronze in the 100 butterfly.
