SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Women's basketball (17-10, 10-6 CUSA) dropped their contest to Missouri State (18-11, 10-6 CUSA) on Thursday night, 69-38.
The first quarter ended with the Lady Bears up 13-10. Missouri State continued the pressure throughout the rest of the first half, going into halftime up 31-22.
The Lady Bears went on to out-score the Panthers 38-16 in the second half to seal the season sweep over FIU, and tie both teams at 10-6 record in conference-play.
Parris Atkins led the Panthers with 13 points on the night, adding on two rebounds and three steals to round out her evening.
