MIAMI — FIU's football program formally announced its scheduled non-conference tilt with UCF for the 2030 campaign on Tuesday afternoon. 

Rekindling an in-state rivalry, the Panthers and Knights will battle in Orlando at UCF's Acrisure Bounce House on Sept. 7, 2030. 

This will be the seventh meeting between FIU and UCF and the first since 2017. It will be the first meeting between both institutions since UCF entered the Power Four fold, joining the Big 12 prior to the 2023-24 academic year. FIU is 2-4 all-time against the Knights with its last victory coming in Orlando on Sept. 3, 2015, a 15-14 triumph. Of the previous six meetings, three have been in Miami and three were in Orlando. 

All six meetings came in a seven-year span from 2011-17 when UCF was in both Conference USA (2011-12) and the American Conference (2013-17).
