MIAMI - Frida Stretre Løbersli of the FIU women's swimming and diving program has been selected to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, the NCAA committee announced on Wednesday.

Stretre Løbersli was invited by the NCAA committee to compete in the 100 breaststroke at the No. 33 ranked spot with a time of 59.52.

The selection for Stretre Løbersli marks the 15th consecutive year that an FIU swimmer has been invited to compete at the NCAA Championships. The streak currently stands as the longest among all mid-major swimming and diving programs.

The championships will be held March 18-21 at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta.

The sophomore has had a standout season so far, earning three total medals at the 2026 American Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, securing silver in the 100-breast. In addition, she helped set a FIU and American Conference record in the 200-medley relay (1:36.24) and earned silver in the 400-medley relay.

A complete list of all swimmers competing in the championships can be found here.

A total of 322 participants (281 swimmers and 41 divers) will compete in the championships. Swimmers qualified for the championships either by winning their conference championship in an event with an established minimum time in that swim or by meeting the established minimum time for the events in which they entered. Divers will be determined by performances achieved at the Zone Diving Championships held March 8-11. Selected divers will be announced Thursday, March 12.

ESPN+ will provide live digital coverage for preliminary and finals sessions Wednesday through Saturday. Tape-delayed coverage of the women's championships will be on ESPNU at 9 p.m. Eastern time, Wednesday, March 25.
