MIAMI — FIU's football program officially announced the scheduling of a non-conference home-and-home series with Old Dominion for the 2028 and 2031 seasons on Thursday. 

The Panthers will first take on the Monarchs, out of the Sun Belt Conference (SBC), in Miami on Sept. 23, 2028. FIU then makes the road trip to Norfolk, Va. to open the 2031 season against ODU on Aug. 30, 2031.

FIU and ODU have played each other seven times previously, all of which came in a span of eight seasons from 2014-21. The Panthers are 3-4 in those matchups during the Monarchs' time in Conference USA.
