Men's Soccer Unveils 2026 Schedule

FIU will play eight home matches at Leyva Family Field at FIU Soccer Stadium

MIAMI – FIU men's soccer released its 2026 schedule on Friday afternoon, featuring a competitive 16-match slate with eight home contests at Leyva Family Field at FIU Soccer Stadium and matchups against four teams that qualified for the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
 
Season tickets are on sale now, with single-game tickets released in the coming weeks.

Coming off its second consecutive appearance in the American Conference Championship and third in the last four seasons, FIU opens the 2026 campaign with a two-match road trip to Nebraska. The Panthers begin the season against BIG EAST opponent Creighton on Thursday, Aug. 20, before wrapping up the opening weekend at Omaha on Sunday, Aug. 23.
 
FIU opens its home schedule with a two-match homestand, beginning Thursday, Aug. 27, against NC State, which advanced to the 2025 NCAA National Championship match before falling to eventual national champion Washington. The Panthers then host St. Thomas (Fla.) on Monday, Aug. 31.
 
The Panthers return to the road for two matches, beginning with a Labor Day weekend showdown against reigning BIG EAST champion St. John's in Queens, New York, on Sunday, Sept. 6. FIU then opens American Conference play at Missouri State on Friday, Sept. 11, in Springfield, Missouri.
 
FIU returns to Miami for a nonconference matchup against Drake on Saturday, Sept. 19, before hosting Memphis in its American Conference home opener on Friday, Sept. 25. The Panthers close out September with a conference road match at FGCU in Fort Myers on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
 
October begins with a trip to Tampa to face South Florida on Friday, Oct. 2, at Corbett Stadium. FIU then returns to the 305 for its final nonconference match of the season, hosting reigning ASUN Tournament champion North Florida on Tuesday, Oct. 6, before welcoming UAB for an American Conference matchup on Sunday, Oct. 11.
 
The Panthers travel to Charlotte on Saturday, Oct. 17, for a pivotal conference matchup against the defending American Conference regular-season champion 49ers. FIU swept the season series in 2025, earning a 1-0 home victory before defeating Charlotte in penalty kicks on the road during the American Conference Championship semifinals to advance to the conference title match.
 
FIU closes out its home schedule with two conference contests, beginning against reigning American Conference Tournament champion Florida Atlantic on Friday, Oct. 23. The Panthers then host Tulsa on Wednesday, Oct. 28, in the regular-season home finale and Senior Night.
 
The regular season concludes on Sunday, Nov. 1, when FIU travels to Philadelphia to face Temple.
 
The 2026 American Conference Men's Soccer Championship is scheduled for Nov. 6-14, with six teams qualifying for the postseason. The top two seeds will receive first-round byes, while opening-round matches will be hosted by the higher seeds on Nov. 6. The semifinals and championship match will be played at the home venue of the tournament's No. 1 seed.
 
In preparation for the 2026 campaign, the Panthers will host three preseason exhibition matches. FIU welcomes Barry on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 9 a.m., followed by Lynn on Friday, Aug. 14, at 7 p.m., and Miami Dade College on Saturday, Aug. 15. All three exhibition matches will be played at Leyva Family Field and are free and open to the public.
 
All home matches will be streamed live on ESPN+, with broadcast information to be announced at a later date.
