MIAMI – FIU women's soccer announced its upcoming schedule for the 2026 season, highlighted by a season-opener against Florida Atlantic and home-opener against the 2025 National Champions in Florida State.

The Panthers' second season under head coach Mat Dunn consists of 18 matches, 10 of which coming against non-conference opponents and eight against Conference USA foes.

The campaign will open at Florida Atlantic on August 12, with the match being played in the Owls' Flagler Credit Union Stadium at 7 p.m.

From there the Panthers will head back to Miami for their first home contest of the season, welcoming Florida State to Leyva Family Field at FIU Soccer Stadium on August 16 at 6 p.m. FIU dropped their contest against Florida State last season in a 2-0 result, with the Seminoles going on to win the 2025 National Championship over Stanford, 1-0.

The Panthers will then head to another ACC school in Duke on August 20 at 6 p.m., with the Blue Devils making it all the way to the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament before falling to one-seed Stanford.

FIU will head back home for a bout against North Florida on August 23, before taking a cross-state trip to face Florida Gulf Coast on August 27.

The Panthers will return to Calle Ocho for a tough three-match homestand, first welcoming Howard on August 30, before UCF comes to town on September 3 at 6 p.m. Last season, FIU beat the Knights in a 1-0 result, winning over UCF for the first time since 2000. From there, the Panthers will welcome Miami to the FIU Soccer Stadium on September 6 at 6 p.m. to end the homestand.

The Panthers will head back on the road to face Stetson on September 10, before returning home for one last non-conference opponent in Jacksonville on September 13.

FIU will have a small break before embarking on their first roadtrip of CUSA-play, making the trip to Las Cruces for a match against New Mexico State on September 27. From there the Panthers will welcome Delaware to Leyva Family Field on October 1, with Jacksonville State following the Blue Hens to Miami for a matchup on October 4.

The Panthers will hit the road to face the 2025 CUSA Champion Liberty Flames on October 11, before returning back home for a bout against Western Kentucky on October 18.

FIU will head to Sam Houston and Missouri State on October 22 and 25, respectively, before ending the 2026 regular season at home against Kennesaw State on November 1.

The 2026 Conference USA Women's Soccer Tournament will take place from November 8-13 in Newark, Delaware.
